Painting

I am constantly exploring different media and I like to work in a variety of ways. I like to paint what is around me; my love of nature and the sea in particular inspires me.

I like the feel and smell of the sea, the waves smashing against the rocks and wind moving through the trees. Nature has a spiritual feel that I also like to try and capture. What I also find is that if I am in a calm quiet area the painting takes on a totally different feel and the way I use paint totally changes to a painting where I can hear the sea of wind. A very hot day will change the way the colours are applied to a cool day.
